A bilingual, multi-ethnic option
that welcomes children with special needs
The staff at Garderie Des Colibris welcomes a multi-ethnic clientele and offers French language learning services. Regardless of the child’s mother tongue, we offer a wide range of learning activities where the child can develop autonomy, imagination, motor skills, observation, language and sociability.
With the parents’ consent, we offer the children a wide range of activities such as outings, scientific and culinary experiments, yoga, drama (theatre), painting, dance, music, varnishing, pre-writing, pre-reading, pre-mathematics, learning how to use a computer, bilingual activities (French-English) and graduation.
Special Needs
We also welcome children with special needs such as developmental delays, language delays, social adaptation, autism and others. Garderie Des Colibris has a full-time special educator on staff who works with these special needs children and supervises the educators by providing advice and guidance to help them optimize the child’s development.
Diversified menu
We serve a diversified menu of fish, meat, legumes, eggs and cheese to provide the children with all the protein they need. It is very important to us to include a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Milk is also a great part of our daily diet.
